PCC Dedicates Road to Charles Schusterman

In early April The Parent Child Center dedicated a stretch of road on the north side of its campus “Charles Schusterman. Charles Schusterman z”l founded Samson Resources Company in 1971 which today ranks among the 20 largest independent oil and gas companies in the United States. Charles contributed much of his time to civic organizations to further causes in which he believed, including The Parent Child Center of Tulsa. Charles received many honors during his extraordinary life, among the most notable of which were his inductions into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, the Tulsa Hall of Fame and the Central High School Hall of Fame.

Lynn Schusterman, co-founder and chair of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, will be in attendance and is expected to speak about the continuing struggle to maintain state funds for child abuse prevention.

The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation continues to significantly invest in child advocacy programs in the Tulsa community and around the world. In 1996, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Foundation made the lead gift in The Parent Child Center’s capital campaign paving the way for the facility that has been the home-base for its prevention programs.
