The Tulsa Area United Way surpassed its fundraising goal for its 2011 campaign raising more than $24.7 million for our community in 2012.
Desiree Doherty, Executive Director at The Parent Child Center also served as chair of the Nonprofits Division of the campaign. Nonprofits include the 61 partner agencies of The Tulsa Area United Way (TAUW) plus others such as the Tulsa Metro Chamber. More then 3,800 employees from those organizations combined to give over $830,000 to help meet the critical human needs in our metropolitan area.
