| Strengthening Families to Prevent Child Abuse | |
|
The Parent Child Center's prevention programs work to help families learn information and skills to provide a safe home and to nurture their child's physical, emotional and intellectual development, so that children can grow up to become responsible, productive citizens of our community and loving parents themselves some day.
If abuse or neglect has occurred, The Parent Child Center's treatment programs help parents and children alike begin to heal from the hurts they have suffered. |

|
The Kids on the Block (KOB) puppet program enriches personal safety programs/curriculums in schools and community organizations for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The Parent Child Center of Tulsa recruits and trains volunteers as puppeteers to perform skits using child-size puppets on topics such as personal safety and physical and sexual abuse.
A counselor must be present at all KOB programs. To schedule a puppet presentation, call our Outreach Coordinator at (918) 699-0503. |
